3 years???

Me and my stupid boss has just gone thru some fxxking stupid appraisal recently.

So many projects to do:
- server migration. (5 server ler...)
- reduce support by 30%
- Storage Area Network implementation
- Increase LAN performance (i totally dunno what to do bout this)

All this projects are so hard to accomplish and my tetsis is "tua sueh liap" already.

On top of all, he ask me to find some certified training. He rekon me to took the MS certified training which is consists of MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA and bla bla bla...
After taking these course, most likely i'll be bond for 2-3 years...
Besides that, i also will be taking a management course as well...

You know la, i don't wish to stay there for that long mar... max 2 years.
So i'm totally fui...
Last friday, my colleague knows my dilemma and he gives some very useful advice.

fatty: well bento, you should enroll for this training.
bento: why wor... i'll kena bond for 3 years.
fatty: 3 years only mar... not long. whats your concern?
bento: but if i kena bond, very danger wor... you know la, we having some re-structuring now...
fatty: you don't need to worry bout that. did you see the whole picture?
bento: ...
fatty: Not every company will provide you these kind of chances.
fatty: When you finish your course, then you will equip with some skills that not much ppl will have.
fatty: Then you can consider to switch jobs, and your salary will double up.
fatty: If you plan to switch job in this 1 or 2 years, is not worth it.
fatty: Your CV won't looks nice and your salary only increase abit and you don't have any skills.
bento: you're right...

What fatty says is really correct. But 3 years wor... for me is abit long. I'm totally dunno what to do.

if money is not a problem for u and can get better offer then can reject the offer ler else just stay with the company and go through all the given training and even though u get bond u still get paid for wat u r doing ;)
